Joanie Greggains’ Give yourself the Gift of Health This workout was designed specifically for the holiday season to prevent you from gaining weight and to keep the winter blues away. No more fatigue and feelings of being overwhelmed by tasks and obligations associated with holidays because this year you have THE HOLIDAY WORKOUT! We'll start with a rhythmic warm-up and add low impact moves to condition the heart and lungs, as well as burn fat. We'll add weights (3-5 pounds) to work the upper body muscles while our lower body keeps moving to the aerobic beat. The intensity builds, as your fat burning enzymes get busy. We will put down the weights and transition to a slower pace to bring our heart rate down and prepare ourselves for the cool-down.
